HE Rashid Abdullah Al Owais, Director General of Sharjah Media City (Shams), stated that the package is rooted in the city’s vision to empower national talent and support Emirati entrepreneurs in the creative sectors. He noted that the initiative is a practical step to remove common challenges that founders face in their early stages.

“We believe at Shams that every promising idea deserves a real chance to launch,” said Al Owais. “Through the ‘Anta Al Sanad’ package, we are providing direct support to UAE creators with a simplified and subsidized individual media license, allowing them to turn their passion and creativity into an official, sustainable project. This initiative is more than just administrative facilitation; it is a message of confidence in the capabilities of our nation’s youth and an investment in the future of Emirati media.”

Shams has extended an open invitation to all Emirati citizens with an idea for a media or creative project to take advantage of the new package, viewing it as a direct pathway to building sustainable businesses that contribute to the national media scene.
