The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has partnered with Al Teneiji Group to provide offices for branches of foreign companies seeking to invest in the emirate.
The offices will be located at Al Teneiji Business Centre. The initiative expands on an earlier programme that offered office space to startup investors, according to the announcement.
SEDD said the new arrangement is designed to give companies access to the tools and resources they need to improve operations, meet regulatory requirements and focus on growth. It also aims to support a more competitive business environment in Sharjah.
The department has previously introduced initiatives for small and medium-sized enterprises, including an online business matchmaking platform, training workshops and support for companies participating in exhibitions.
SEDD said these efforts are intended to strengthen relationships with private-sector partners, facilitate commercial activity and help address challenges faced by entrepreneurs. The department also linked the initiatives to its wider efforts to diversify income sources and develop new economic sectors in the UAE emirate.
