Sharqia Governorate’s Population Unit will hold two free workshops to help young people and women develop business ideas and learn the basics of entrepreneurship and financial inclusion.

Organised under the “Yalla Neshteghal” initiative, the workshops are designed for people interested in starting their own businesses. Sessions will cover the fundamentals of launching small projects, turning ideas into viable ventures and using financial services to manage a business.

The first workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Derb Negm City Council hall. The second will take place on Wednesday, October 21, at the sports club in Al-Husseiniya. Both sessions start at 11am.

The programme targets young people and women aged 18 to 50, according to the announcement. Participants are encouraged to confirm the age requirement with the organisers, as the original notice reportedly contained a typographical error regarding eligibility.

The initiative aims to strengthen practical skills, promote self-employment and support participants in developing small businesses that can contribute to job creation and greater economic independence.
