Startup Syria has opened nominations for its 2026 awards, recognising startups, entrepreneurs, organisations and community leaders contributing to Syria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The awards cover four categories: Startup of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Organization of the Year and Community Enabler of the Year. Eligibility is open to Syrian founders, Syrian-led startups and organisations working with or for Syrian communities globally.
Anyone can nominate themselves or another candidate, with up to three nominations allowed. Submissions will be reviewed by an independent jury of founders, investors, ecosystem leaders and other experts. The evaluation will consider innovation, impact, sustainability, execution and leadership.
Nominations close on October 20, 2026. The winners are scheduled to be announced on November 5 during the Startup Syria Conference.
