Unilabs Middle East and Takalam have expanded their collaboration to make selected diagnostic services and health packages available directly through the Takalam app.
Users will be able to explore and book eligible Unilabs services through the platform, bringing diagnostic testing and mental wellbeing support into a single digital journey. The companies said the initiative is intended to improve access to health services and encourage a more proactive approach to wellbeing.
The collaboration coincides with World Mental Health Day and supports Unilabs Middle East’s broader focus on using digital solutions and partnerships to strengthen the role of diagnostics across the wider healthcare journey.
The initiative also builds on Unilabs Middle East’s partnership with Hub71 through Hub71+ Life Sciences, a programme focused on HealthTech and life sciences. As an anchor market partner, Unilabs works with startups in the ecosystem, including Takalam, to connect diagnostic expertise with digital health services.
Takalam was founded in Abu Dhabi in 2021 by Khawla Hammad and Inas Abu Shashieh. The platform provides mental wellbeing support through AI tools, counselling and other services tailored to users in the Arab world.
