Tarabut has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bahrain’s Khaleeji Bank to support the development of its digital banking channels and customer experience.
The agreement, signed on the sidelines of FinTech Forward 2026, will see the two organisations explore the use of Tarabut’s open banking connectivity and financial data analytics technology. The platform’s capabilities include spending categorisation and income insights, which can help the bank better understand customer needs, according to the announcement.
Under the MoU, Tarabut and Khaleeji Bank will work on applying these tools across the bank’s digital channels. The companies said the collaboration is intended to turn financial data into actionable insights and support more connected, user-friendly services.
Mohamed Alderazi, Tarabut’s head of product, data and AI, and Osama Nasr, Khaleeji Bank’s chief technology officer, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two companies and reflects Khaleeji Bank’s focus on expanding its digital services, the announcement said.
