The UAE Cabinet has launched an AI Advisor System featuring 32 specialised AI agents to support federal ministers with policy analysis and decision-making.
Chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi on September 2, the Cabinet session marked the system’s operational launch. The platform works continuously to assess legislation, policies and strategies, evaluate potential societal impacts, compare international practices and monitor the implementation of decisions.
The Cabinet also approved a framework for issuing Cabinet decisions with support from agentic AI technologies and the AI advisor, aiming to maintain continuity and speed up decision-making, according to the announcement.
The system builds on regulatory intelligence trials launched in 2025, which the UAE said accelerated legislative research, drafting and enactment by up to 70%. The underlying framework connects federal and local laws, judicial rulings, executive procedures and public services.
Following the Cabinet trials, the National Artificial Intelligence System is being extended to boards across federal entities and government companies. The Cabinet also reviewed 2025 digital government performance, including 308 million completed transactions across 1,633 services and a 92% customer satisfaction rate for priority services.
