Renacore, a startup founded by Abdallah Abu-Taleb, Fares A. and Jeton B., is building an AI-powered intelligence platform for critical energy infrastructure through The Utopia Studio fellowship.
The team initially set out to develop a horizontal enterprise AI platform. Its work with contacts in Qatar’s energy sector led it to focus on predictive maintenance for LNG and power assets, where equipment failures can cause costly downtime.
According to the announcement, many LNG operators still rely on reactive maintenance and static alarm thresholds, while valuable data from historians and control systems remains underused. Renacore aims to identify early signs of failure, improve maintenance planning and help operators reduce unplanned outages.
The company brings together expertise in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, financial strategy and operations, and sales, quality management and heavy industry. The founders have also previously built and exited a business.
Founded in 2025, Renacore says its broader vision is to create an intelligence layer for infrastructure by connecting fragmented operational data and supporting better maintenance and risk decisions.
