Jordanian startup support company VentureX has signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Hussein Bin Talal University in Ma’an to strengthen cooperation in innovation, entrepreneurship and startup support.
Signed on September 3, 2026, the agreement covers practical training for students, faculty members and staff at the university’s entrepreneurship centre, as well as innovation hackathons and demo events to test ideas in the market.
According to the announcement, the partnership will also give participants access to VentureX’s Jordan and Egypt ambassador programme and VX Clinic, which provides investment guidance and connects startups with investors. The programme will include workshops and training in entrepreneurship, innovation and artificial intelligence, alongside technical advice and feasibility studies for university-backed projects.
The memorandum was signed by VentureX Innovation Director Farah Nahhas and Al Hussein Bin Talal University President Atef Al-Kharabsheh, in the presence of representatives from both organisations.
The university said the partnership will help students and entrepreneurs develop ideas into viable projects, while expanding support for startups and innovation in Ma’an.
