The 10th Abu Dhabi Sustainable Entrepreneurship Forum opened on September 30, bringing regional business leaders, policymakers and experts together for a two-day event at Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi.
Organised by the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group, which operates under the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, the forum is being held under the theme “Redefining Prosperity: How a Nature-Positive Economy and Natural and Social Capital Accounting Can Shape Sustainable Development.”
Dolphin Energy and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) are the event’s principal sponsors.
Huda Al Houqani, director of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group, said the forum’s 10th anniversary marks a decade of dialogue, partnerships and work focused on sustainability. She added that the event has become a platform for business leaders, decision-makers and experts to examine sustainability challenges alongside the opportunities to turn ambitions into practical action and measurable impact.
According to the announcement, this year’s discussions will focus on redefining prosperity and exploring how nature-positive economic models, as well as the valuation of natural and social capital, can support more sustainable, resilient and inclusive development.
