Orange Corners Baghdad has officially opened applications for the 11th cohort of its six-month incubation program. This is a key opportunity for young Iraqi entrepreneurs with an innovative idea or an early-stage startup to receive the training, mentorship, and support needed to grow and scale their businesses.
Program Overview and Mission
Orange Corners Baghdad is a fully funded initiative from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, implemented in Iraq by Kapita. Its mission is to support young Iraqi entrepreneurs in bringing their business ideas to life. The six-month program will incubate 20 startups, providing them with the business development, training, and masterclasses they need to succeed.
What Participants Will Receive
The program offers a comprehensive support system for founders, including:
- A series of training courses covering business development, market research, finance, digital marketing, and sales.
- Business development consulting sessions.
- Advanced masterclasses.
- Investment opportunities.
- A positive co-working space environment.
- Public discussions through conferences on topics related to private sector development.
Who Should Apply?
The program is looking for committed and ambitious young founders. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of Iraq.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 37.
- Have a high level of commitment and discipline.
- Possess an innovative idea or a startup at the MVP stage that addresses one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Be available to attend trainings and develop their project.
- Be unemployed or at most a part-time employee to have sufficient time to commit to the program.
