Omani foodtech startup KitchenomiKs has successfully raised $3.2 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by Jasoor Ventures and elevates the company’s total capital raised to $6.7 million since its inception, signaling strong investor confidence in its scalable cloud kitchen model.
Scaling Operations and Regional Footprint
Founded in 2022, KitchenomiKs has rapidly established a significant presence in Muscat, having delivered over one million meals through its central kitchen and a growing network of satellite hubs. The fresh capital injection is earmarked to accelerate this expansion, enabling the company to broaden its satellite kitchen network across Oman and strategically enter new markets throughout the GCC. This move will enhance food proximity and delivery efficiency for a wider customer base.
Powering Growth with Proprietary Tech
A key focus for the new funding will be the continued development of KitchenomiKs’ proprietary AI-driven platform, KiKsIQ. The platform is designed to optimize every facet of the operation, from supply chain management and food preparation to delivery logistics. By investing in KiKsIQ, the company aims to enhance operational efficiency, personalize the customer experience, and leverage data to better understand consumer preferences and market trends. Aankush Bhatia, Founder & CEO of KitchenomiKs, stated, “Our focus now shifts to scaling smarter — building the technology and ecosystem that will power the future of food across the region.”
Investor Confidence in a Growing Sector
The funding round underscores the growing investor appetite for innovative foodtech solutions in the region. Moosa Al Raeesi of lead investor Jasoor Ventures commented on the decision, saying, “Today, food proximity, customer preferences, and data play a more critical role than ever in shaping the future of how food is prepared, delivered, and experienced. KitchenomiKs team has established a solid foundation and continues to grow with focus and discipline, which aligns with our vision of backing ventures that create lasting value in emerging sectors.”
