Funding Program Overview
The “Your Project… Your Startup” program aims to bridge the gap between higher education and the needs of Egyptian industry. It encourages students to develop innovative solutions for industrial challenges, fostering the creation of sustainable and scalable business models. The program also focuses on developing students’ entrepreneurial skills by providing the necessary financial, technical, and service support, aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for a knowledge-based economy.

Eligibility Criteria
Team Requirements:
- All team members must be final-year students at an Egyptian university or institute.
- Teams must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 students.
- The team must include at least one student from a business administration specialty OR a student who has completed entrepreneurship courses (proof is required).
- Students can be from different faculties, but all must be from the same university.
- A student cannot be a member of more than one team.
- The project must not have received funding from any other source.
Project Requirements:
- The project must be innovative, address a real community problem, and have clear commercial potential.
- It must be capable of being transformed into a startup.
- The team must have conducted at least a preliminary market study.
- The project must align with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development.
- Projects must provide solutions in one of the following fields: Sustainable Energy, Water Treatment/Desalination, Smart Agriculture & Food Security, Waste Management & Recycling, Smart & Eco-friendly Transportation, or AI & Robotics.

- Project Implementation: Must be completed before the end of the academic year.

The Innovators Support Fund (ISF) was established by Law 1/2019 and reports to the Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research. The ISF’s mission is to discover, train, support, and fund gifted individuals, entrepreneurs, and innovators in Egypt.
