Saudi Arabia Spotlights SAR 30 Billion In Eastern Province Investment Opportunities

Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province Municipality is set to showcase a portfolio of developmental and investment projects valued at over SAR 30 billion at the upcoming Entrepreneurship Forum and Exhibition (RAD 2025). The event, scheduled for November 24-26, aims to attract local, GCC, and international investors, highlighting the region’s growing appeal as a prime investment hub.

The initiative underscores the significant development transforming the cities and governorates of the Eastern Province, reflecting a strategic push to enhance quality of life and empower the private sector’s role in urban development.

A Vision for Urban Development and Quality of Life

Faisal Al-Zahrani, the official spokesperson for the Eastern Province Municipality, explained that the participation in RAD 2025 is designed to present an integrated model of its large-scale projects. These initiatives are central to the region’s efforts to improve urban landscapes, boost economic activity, and create a vibrant environment for residents and visitors alike.

The municipality’s showcase will feature dedicated sections on its advancements in smart city development, environmental safety, infrastructure enhancement, and urban humanization. These efforts align with the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and empower private enterprises as key partners in national development.

Spotlight on Key Development Projects

The municipality is presenting a wide array of high-impact projects. Key highlights include the comprehensive development of Half Moon Bay beaches and various waterfronts, alongside the revamping of over 250 parks and recreational areas through an investment model aligned with the “Saudi Green Initiative.”

Major infrastructure and landmark projects are also being featured, such as new public and maritime transport systems, the King Abdullah Cultural Center, the Al-Marjan Island development, Dammam Creek, and the modernization of the Al-Hamra and Al-Plaza cornishes. Other notable ventures include the “Global City” project encompassing Saihat Lake in Dammam and the establishment of the Kingdom’s first standardized public beach.

Over 470 Opportunities for Investors and Entrepreneurs

To facilitate private sector participation, the municipality is presenting over 478 ready-to-launch investment opportunities. These include strategic projects such as the landmark Water Tower, the Othaim Circle project, and the Alshaya Center on the Khobar Corniche.

Further opportunities lie in infrastructure and services for industrial and logistical zones, as well as the development of the “Sustainability City” for waste recycling. This project is a collaboration with the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), signaling strong government backing for sustainable ventures.
