Zain Innovation Campus Engages Nearly 1400 Youths During Global Entrepreneurship Week in Jordan

In a significant push to bolster the local entrepreneurial landscape, Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) recently concluded a comprehensive series of 40 training sessions and workshops, reaching 1,381 students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and startup founders across Jordan. The initiative was part of the 17th edition of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) in the country.
The events, which ran from November 16 to 23, were organized through ZINC’s strategic partnership with the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) at Princess Sumaya University for Technology.

Fostering Skills for the Future

The 40 sessions featured a lineup of experts and specialists who led interactive lectures, workshops, and discussions. The curriculum was designed to address contemporary challenges and opportunities in the tech world, covering critical topics such as Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, user experience (UX) design, and digital transformation.

Further sessions focused on practical skills essential for startup success, including building personal and entrepreneurial brands, digital fabrication, and developing robust business model canvases. The overarching goal was to equip participants with the tools needed to advance their projects and expand their professional networks.

A Focus on Ecosystem Development

According to a statement from Zain Jordan, this year’s GEW activities were structured around four key pillars: fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems, advancing education, promoting inclusion, and shaping supportive policies for innovation.
This targeted approach reflects a broader commitment to creating a sustainable and supportive environment for new ventures to thrive within the Kingdom.
