Egypt’s Business For Teens Secures Six-Figure Pre-Seed Investment

Business For Teens, an Egypt-based edtech startup, has successfully closed a six-figure pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by renowned sales and training expert Salah Abou Elmagd, with participation from a group of angel investors. This capital injection marks a pivotal moment for the company as it accelerates its mission to equip the next generation with essential entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills.

Developing Future Entrepreneurs

Founded in 2024 by Nadeem Barakat, Business For Teens addresses a significant gap in traditional education by focusing on teenagers aged 10–16. The startup provides a clear pathway from fundamental business concepts to launching real-world projects. By combining interactive project-based learning, startup simulations, and educational games, the company ensures students gain practical experience rather than just theoretical knowledge.

Since its inception, the startup has gained impressive traction, partnering with over 10 schools across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. To date, it has trained more than 600 students, many of whom have showcased their own business projects at student bazaars and exhibitions organized by the company.

Scaling Impact Across MENA

The newly raised funds will be directed towards expanding operations and deepening partnerships with educational institutions across Egypt and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The company has outlined ambitious goals for the near future, including the launch of three new program levels in Q1 2026.

By the end of the year, Business For Teens aims to increase its network to over 30 school partnerships and train more than 6,000 students. Founder Nadeem Barakat emphasized that the funding will enable the team to scale their impact significantly, helping thousands of teens build the personal and business skills required for a fast-changing global economy.
