The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has announced the launch of its new pre-incubation program, “InnoStart Electronics,” opening applications for innovators and early-stage startups in advanced electronics. This initiative is a collaboration with the “Egypt Makes Electronics” (EME) initiative and key industry partners, and will be hosted at the Creativa Digital Egypt Innovation Center in Giza.

Bridging the Gap From Idea to Prototype

The primary objective of the InnoStart Electronics program is to empower early-stage teams to transform their technical concepts into tangible prototypes and market-ready products. The program provides a comprehensive support structure designed to accelerate growth and ensure viability.

Participants will benefit from hands-on training in crucial areas such as business development, go-to-market strategies, and investment readiness. In addition, the program offers specialized technical mentorship focused on building and validating a minimum viable product (MVP).

Focusing on Deep Tech and Advanced Electronics

InnoStart Electronics is specifically designed to support ventures operating at the cutting edge of technology. The program will prioritize projects in high-growth sectors including Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, and automation.

ITIDA has issued a call to all interested innovators and entrepreneurs to apply for the program, highlighting it as a significant opportunity to fast-track the development of promising electronic solutions and prepare them for commercial launch.

Leveraging the Creativa Innovation Ecosystem

By being hosted at the Creativa hub, participants gain access to a dynamic innovation ecosystem. This includes a supportive environment tailored for development, experimentation, and valuable networking opportunities with industry experts and mentors. The program aims to create a confluence of talent and resources to drive the next wave of hardware innovation in Egypt.
