Global display technology leader BenQ has launched its new MOBIUZ EX Series of gaming monitors in Dubai, introducing what it calls the world’s first “Game Art Monitors.” The new lineup, including the EX271UZ, EX321UZ, and EX271QZ models, is specifically designed for enthusiasts of open-world and story-driven games, combining advanced color technology with AI-powered art style adaptation.
A New Focus on Gaming Artistry
The launch reflects a shift in gamer priorities, moving beyond pure performance to a deeper appreciation for in-game atmosphere, detail, and artistry. BenQ’s strategy aims to bridge the gap between game developers’ creative vision and the player’s visual experience.
“Our research shows that today’s gamers want more than action—they’re drawn to atmosphere, detail, and artistry,” said Manish Bakshi, Managing Director of BenQ Middle East. “We see gaming as a visual journey across beautifully crafted worlds. That is why the new MOBIUZ EX Series is designed to bring those aesthetic elements to life.”
Bakshi added, “This launch marks a major step in BenQ’s ongoing commitment to enhance gaming experiences through color expertise. With deep understanding of game art and advanced display technologies, we connect gamers and creators, helping them fully embrace and express their creative spirit.”
AI-Powered Color Optimization
A standout feature of the EX Series is Color Shuttle, a software powered by Smart Game Art—a proprietary deep learning system. Trained on a vast database of AAA game art, the system automatically analyzes a game’s visual style, from photorealistic RPGs to stylized anime, and applies one of over 120 tailored color profiles to perfectly match the creator’s intended aesthetic without requiring manual adjustments.
Enhanced Visual Immersion
The monitors also incorporate BenQ’s Spectral Color Refinement technology, which smooths color gradations and eliminates visible banding to reveal subtle textures in both highlights and shadows. This is complemented by High Pixel Contrast, a technology that dynamically adjusts brightness and detail on a pixel-by-pixel basis, adding depth and realism to complex scenes like dark caverns or sunlit ruins.
Next-Generation Hardware Specifications
The MOBIUZ EX Series features QD-OLED panels ranging from 27 to 32 inches with QHD or 4K resolutions and refresh rates up to 500Hz. The displays boast wide 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, ultra-low 0.03ms GtG response times, and FreeSync Premium Pro support for tear-free gameplay. For connectivity, the series includes console-ready features like HDMI 2.1 with VRR and ALLM, as well as DisplayPort 2.1 on the flagship EX321UZ model.
Tapping Into MENA’s Booming Gaming Market
The Dubai launch highlights BenQ’s strategic focus on the rapidly expanding MENA gaming ecosystem. With one of the fastest-growing gaming populations globally and high consumer spending on premium hardware, the region represents a key market for high-end gaming peripherals. The MOBIUZ EX Series’ emphasis on visual fidelity and artistic immersion is well-positioned to appeal to the discerning community of PC and console gamers across the Middle East.
