Dubai Racing Club and Tokinvest Expand Racehorse Tokenization Marketplace

3 Min Read

Dubai Racing Club and Dubai-based digital asset platform Tokinvest are accelerating the financialization of global horseracing. Prominent racehorse owner Sayed Hashish has officially joined the Dubai Digital Syndication programme, a regulated token marketplace designed to modernize equine ownership for the 2026/27 racing season.

Quick Facts

  • Sayed Hashish joins Dubai Digital Syndication programme.

  • Owners tokenise horse stakes to unlock operational capital.

  • Regulated marketplace targets Meydan’s 2026/27 racing season.

Tokenizing Equine Assets in Dubai

The Dubai Digital Syndication programme introduces a highly structural financial model for stable management. By issuing digital tokens that represent fractional stakes in racehorses, existing owners can liquidate locked capital. This newly freed liquidity can then be directed back into core operational requirements, such as premium training facilities, logistics, and specialized veterinary care.

Simultaneously, this asset structure opens performance-based upside to a global investor base, a group historically excluded from the high-barrier economics of top-tier horseracing. Crucially, the model allows original asset owners to maintain full operational control over their stables while unlocking new funding streams.

First introduced in January 2026, the syndication framework aligns with local strategic efforts to broaden access to the sport and ensure the long-term commercial viability of Dubai’s racing ecosystem.

Validation from Prominent UAE Owners

The integration of Sayed Hashish, an established business leader managing a competitive regional stable, signals market confidence in the digital syndication model among traditional racing stakeholders.

“By tokenising our horses, we’re turning future earnings into capital today, bringing in global investors, and building a stronger, more resilient stable with reduced risk,” said Hashish.

HE Ali Al Ali, CEO of Dubai Racing Club, noted that the initiative builds on the organization’s mandate to support existing owners while establishing modern financial models within the sport.

Tokinvest Delivers Regulated Digital Infrastructure

The technical and regulatory backend of the Dubai Digital Syndication is powered entirely by Tokinvest. The platform manages the complete lifecycle of the virtual tokens, handling everything from initial issuance to secondary trading and comprehensive asset servicing.

Scott Thiel, CEO and Co-Founder of Tokinvest, emphasized that the collaboration leverages the massive global reach of Dubai Racing Club to introduce structurally new ownership models to the equestrian sector. The syndication will allow investors to participate specifically in horses competing at Meydan under regulated frameworks.
