du, the UAE-based telco, has announced a strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) to support the nation’s industrial innovation and digital transformation agenda. The agreement, signed at the Make it in the Emirates forum, will see du’s enterprise arm, du Tech, provide specialized advisory and consultancy services to guide manufacturers through technology adoption.

Under the new agreement, du Tech will work with ADIO to create structured innovation and funding pathways for industrial projects. The collaboration is designed to guide enterprises from the initial concept stage through to full-scale execution, connecting advanced technology with practical, scalable deployment strategies.
The goal is to help manufacturers and industrial companies integrate new technologies more effectively, accelerating their digital transformation efforts in line with the UAE’s national economic objectives. During the forum, du Tech showcased its process for mapping this journey, from concept development to implementation.

By integrating du Tech’s technical expertise into its Smart Manufacturing Program, ADIO aims to equip local businesses with the necessary frameworks and support for their digital initiatives.
Mohamed Ali Al Kamali, Chief of Industry and Trade at ADIO, explained the strategic benefit of the partnership.
“Leveraging the technical capabilities of du Tech through ADIO’s Smart Manufacturing Programme will empower industrial facilities to accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies, increase productivity levels and diversify locally manufactured products, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of the industrial sector and supporting the emirate’s strategic priorities,” he said.
