Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani has inaugurated the Higher Institute for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Technology.
The institute will focus on scientific research in artificial intelligence and applying its technologies across scientific, engineering and development sectors. According to the announcement, it will also work to turn research findings into practical applications and technical solutions.
The institute is expected to support collaboration between scientific and engineering disciplines, develop national talent and train specialists for the labor market. Al-Hasani also highlighted its role in preparing graduates for technical careers and supporting employment and sustainable economic development, while maintaining free education without additional costs for students.
