The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have announced that the eleventh edition of the Knowledge Summit will take place on November 17 and 18, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event is set to address pressing global issues under the theme ‘Knowledge: Navigating Crises in a Changing World.’

This year’s event will feature the ninth edition of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award (MBRKA), which recognizes creative individuals, researchers, thinkers, and institutions for their contributions to knowledge dissemination.

Additionally, the summit will unveil the results of the ‘Global Knowledge Index (GKI) 2026’. Now in its tenth edition, the GKI is a key international benchmark for measuring the state of the knowledge landscape and monitoring nations’ progress toward innovation-based economies.
