Competition Overview
The Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program is L’Oréal SAPMENA’s initiative to find innovative startups that can help advance its Beauty Tech ambitions. The program seeks to co-create solutions across key challenge areas, offering participants a chance to partner with one of the world’s leading beauty companies and scale their solutions across a wide array of brands and markets.

- Connected Brand Experience: Creating immersive online and offline experiences that merge content, media, and brand into a unified ecosystem.
- Creators & Affiliates: Unlocking the power of creators and affiliate networks to amplify brand reach and build authentic consumer trust.
- AI-Powered Commerce: Deploying AI to deliver intelligent, connected commerce experiences across all channels.
- Innovation for Good: Designing responsible innovations that prioritize ethics, privacy, inclusivity, and sustainability.
- Science for Beauty: Combining deep science with intelligent technology to accelerate ingredient discovery and elevate product innovation.
Eligibility Criteria
L’Oréal is looking for startups that meet the following criteria:
- Innovation: Offer novel, technology-driven solutions backed by an existing customer base.
- Scalability: Possess a stable and scalable business model with significant growth opportunities.
- Sustainability: Have a sustainable mindset and ideally, sustainable practices in place.
- Impact on L’Oréal: Provide effective solutions that can solve important problems for L’Oréal in significant ways.
