Global enterprise software investor Vista Equity Partners has officially launched a new regional base in the UAE, securing full regulatory approval to operate its new office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

Securing a Foothold in the Middle East
The firm’s regional entity, VEPM Middle East Limited, has received approval from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA). This license allows the firm to advise on and arrange investments across the Middle East from its new base on Al Maryah Island.
Vignesh Vijayakumar has been appointed to lead the new office, taking on the roles of Licensed Director and Senior Executive Officer.
A Magnet for Global Capital
Vista’s expansion aligns with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office’s (ADIO) strategy to cultivate a globally connected hub for financial services and digital innovation.

The new office will build on Vista’s existing relationships with regional investors and sovereign wealth funds, which already include co-investments alongside Abu Dhabi-based institutions.
