Dubai Holding, the global investment company, has announced a major collaboration with Microsoft to integrate artificial intelligence across its entire operational framework. • First MEA enterprise-scale AI deployment.
  • Collaboration with Microsoft embeds AI into core operations.
  • Integrates OpenAI and Anthropic models within a unified environment.

Embedding AI Across Core Operations

This initiative goes beyond pilot projects, aiming to embed advanced AI capabilities, complete with robust governance and security controls, across all of Dubai Holding’s business units. The integration will affect sectors including real estate, hospitality, retail, entertainment, and investments.

Employees across the group will gain access to AI tools through a unified interface, allowing them to deploy AI agents for automating routine tasks and streamlining workflows. To support this transition, Dubai Holding is launching a structured training program, including targeted workshops and use-case development, to ensure consistent adoption and effective application of these new capabilities.

Driving Dubai’s National AI Agenda

By moving to a full-scale AI deployment, Dubai Holding is actively supporting the emirate’s broader digital transformation goals. The collaboration aligns with key national initiatives like the UAE National AI Strategy 2031 and the Dubai AI Roadmap, solidifying Dubai’s position as a hub for applied innovation and responsible tech adoption.

The partnership builds on Dubai Holding’s existing technology ventures, including its Aither joint venture with Palantir Technologies. Collectively, these initiatives are designed to boost productivity and competitiveness across its diverse portfolio while contributing to the UAE’s long-term economic growth.

Amit Kaushal, Group Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding, commented on the partnership, stating, “Technology is central to how we operate and create value across the organisation. Our collaboration with Microsoft reflects a deliberate step in embedding artificial intelligence into our core operations, in line with Dubai’s broader digital transformation ambitions.”

He added, “By integrating AI into everyday workflows, we are strengthening performance and decision-making, while continuing to invest in our people to ensure they are equipped to operate effectively and drive long-term value creation.”

Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, also noted the significance of the move. “The next phase of artificial intelligence is defined by how organisations apply it at scale to drive productivity and long-term value. Our role is to support customers like Dubai Holding with the platforms and capabilities needed to integrate AI securely into their operations, while advancing responsible innovation that benefits employees, businesses and the broader economy.”
