Arabic.AI, a provider of Arabic artificial intelligence and enterprise language solutions, has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Magna AI to accelerate the development of Arabic-native AI capabilities across Saudi Arabia. The partnership was announced at the Global AI Show 2026 in Riyadh.

Quick Facts

  • Partnership to build Arabic-first sovereign AI.
  • Announced at the Global AI Show in Riyadh.
  • Combines infrastructure with Arabic language intelligence.

Fusing Infrastructure with Arabic Intelligence

The collaboration aims to merge two critical parts of the AI value chain. Magna AI, a company established by Trend Micro and Wistron Digital Technology Holding Company (WDH) and powered by NVIDIA, provides the foundational infrastructure, platforms, security, and operational capabilities needed to deploy and scale AI systems.

In turn, Arabic.AI supplies the intelligence layer. This includes a sovereign Arabic large language model, agentic AI platforms, and Arabic-native assistants, along with translation, optical character recognition (OCR), and speech recognition tools. These technologies are specifically built to meet the linguistic, cultural, and regulatory needs of the Arabic-speaking world. The joint effort will focus on deploying production-ready AI that understands local dialects and context while adhering to Saudi Arabia’s data residency and sovereignty requirements.

A Push for Culturally-Aware AI

Leaders from both companies highlighted the strategic importance of building AI that is not only powerful but also culturally and linguistically relevant.

“Saudi Arabia is building national AI capabilities at a pace very few countries can match, and the infrastructure supporting this progress must be sovereign, secure, and governed,” said Dr. Moataz BinAli, CEO of Magna AI. “But sovereign infrastructure is only one part of the equation. It must run intelligence that genuinely understands the language, context, and need of the communities it serves.”

Nour Al Hassan, CEO of Tarjama and Arabic.AI, emphasized the need for authentic Arabic AI.

“AI for the Arabic-speaking world must be built with Arabic at its core. For nearly two decades, through Tarjama, we have worked at the intersection of Arabic language and technology, and that expertise is now embedded into a sovereign Arabic large language model built for governments and enterprises across the region,” Al Hassan stated. “Through our partnership with Magna AI, we aim to combine Arabic-first intelligence with the infrastructure, platforms, and operational capabilities required to deliver meaningful impact across Saudi Arabia.”
