From Classroom to Market
The “Innovate to Start” competition is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application. Three winning teams were chosen by a jury, which included a representative from Orange Jordan, after a thorough evaluation process.
Projects were judged on a set of core criteria including innovation, market impact, scalability, and financial sustainability. The jury also considered the efficiency of the student teams and the potential of their projects to create new job opportunities within the Jordanian economy.
Building a Talent Pipeline
This sponsorship is part of Orange Jordan’s broader strategy to connect the academic sector with the labor market. The telecom giant aims to provide students with the necessary platforms and tools to develop their ideas into market-ready projects.
This initiative complements the company’s existing ecosystem programs, such as its Coding Academy, Fabrication Lab, and the BIG by Orange business accelerator. Through these programs, Orange Jordan provides skills training and networking opportunities with potential investors and strategic partners, helping to transition student research from university labs into the commercial space.
