TikTok and Riyadh-based Blossom Accelerator have successfully wrapped up an AI-focused hackathon, bringing together a mix of entrepreneurs, developers, students, and AI enthusiasts from across Saudi Arabia. The intensive one-day event challenged teams to build AI-driven solutions for real-world problems, supporting the Kingdom’s growing digital ecosystem.

From Idea to Prototype in a Day
The hackathon attracted a wide range of talent who collaborated on 63 distinct projects. The day was structured to guide participants from initial concepts to viable business pitches, featuring workshops on AI-powered problem-solving, prototype development, and effective storytelling for investors.
With technical support from partner Replit, teams worked to build minimum viable products (MVPs). Mentors and technical experts were on hand to provide guidance, helping participants validate their ideas and navigate development hurdles. The event ended with a live pitching competition where teams presented their solutions to a panel of industry experts, who judged projects on innovation, technical execution, and scalability.
Powering the Kingdom’s AI Ambitions
The initiative highlights a joint effort to cultivate digital skills and entrepreneurship in line with Saudi Arabia’s economic goals.

Key academic partners included Mawhiba, the Saudi Electronic University (SEU), and the Council of Universities Affairs (CUA) under the Ministry of Education, underscoring the collaborative approach to talent development in the Kingdom.
