Accelerator Momentum for a Growing Ecosystem

The investment marks the second Jordanian company backed by 2080 Ventures through its dedicated accelerator program, following its initial investment in Bridge, a digital infrastructure provider for the pharmaceutical sector. Carevision’s funding announcement comes on the heels of its completion of the 500 Global | Sanabil Investments Accelerator, signaling strong momentum for the early-stage company.

Both Carevision and Bridge officially opened their seed rounds after participating in the accelerator’s Demo Day in Amman on December 15th. According to 2080 Ventures, it played a key role in structuring the rounds and contributed capital as an anchor investor alongside other MENA and US-based co-investors. Both seed rounds currently remain open for additional investors to join before closing.

A Strategic Partnership-Driven Approach

The successful entry of 2080 Ventures into Jordan highlights a deepening focus on the country’s startup ecosystem. This move was supported by a strategic collaboration with Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), which has been integral to establishing the Jordan x 2080 Accelerator.

In her announcement, founder Amani Abulaban acknowledged the Ministry’s support “for its continued commitment to strengthening startup ecosystem and creating pathways for founders to connect with global investors and scale internationally.”
