Dubai Media has announced the launch of Media X, its flagship AI Transformation Programme, signaling a significant move to integrate artificial intelligence across its operations. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s broader strategy to establish itself as a global hub for AI and digital innovation, aiming to create a next-generation media ecosystem within the emirate.

A Strategic Roadmap for AI Integration

Media X is designed as a long-term strategic plan to build an AI-powered framework supporting everything from idea generation and content creation to production and audience engagement. The programme aims to boost operational efficiency and content quality while establishing a community of in-house AI experts who can drive innovation across Dubai Media’s diverse platforms.

Shaikha Ahmad, Chief Human Capital Officer at Dubai Media, explained that the initiative is a core part of the organisation’s evolution.

“Media X is more than a technology initiative—it is a strategic transformation programme that will embed artificial intelligence into the way we work, create and innovate,” Ahmad stated. “By equipping our people with advanced capabilities and turning emerging technologies into practical applications, we are building a more agile, efficient and future-ready media organisation.”

Training Talent From Within

The programme’s first phase will be executed through the Media X AI Accelerator. This internal training module will equip a select group of employees with practical AI skills and specialised tools specifically designed for the media industry.

This focus on upskilling is central to Dubai Media’s strategy, ensuring its teams can leverage AI to improve creative output and production speed.

“Artificial intelligence will empower our teams to enhance creativity, accelerate production and deliver richer audience experiences, while preserving the editorial excellence, credibility and quality that define our media brands,” Ahmad added.
