Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy has completed the first cohort of its Taqatak accelerator, supporting 21 startups developing technology and innovation solutions for the energy sector.
The program delivered 65 advisory sessions, 50 meetings between startups and investors, and 41 specialized workshops. It also included 13 partners supporting the sector’s innovation ecosystem, according to the ministry.
The accelerator ran through four stages: planning and development, recruitment and selection, acceleration, and graduation day. Its support included legal and technical advisory sessions, sector-focused workshops, direct connections with universities, research centers and companies, and investment tours with energy-focused investors.
