The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) completed nearly 16 million digital transactions through its AI-powered services during the first half of 2026, according to the ministry.

The milestone highlights MOHRE’s shift from digitising individual procedures to operating a broader data-driven services platform. Its digital ecosystem is designed to simplify customer journeys, reduce processing times and provide more proactive services for employers, employees and businesses.

MOHRE said its platforms support employment-related services including work permits, labour contracts, compliance procedures and employer transactions. Artificial intelligence and data analytics are used to improve processing, reduce manual intervention and support faster decision-making.

Hamda Al Ghass, acting assistant undersecretary for the Digital Business Development Sector at MOHRE, said the ministry continues to invest in advanced technologies to make services more efficient, user-friendly and proactive.

The ministry said the continued growth of digital channels also supports round-the-clock access to services, ease of doing business and the competitiveness of the UAE labour market. The initiative forms part of the UAE government’s wider digital transformation agenda and its Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme.
