Suez Canal University in Egypt has delivered two training programs focused on entrepreneurship, green innovation and environmental awareness, reaching 54 participants.
The first program, held on August 3, 2026, at Umm Al Abtal School, introduced 32 students from the Gifted Students and Smart Learning Administration to entrepreneurship and green innovation. Led by Afنان Mمدوح Barakat, a lecturer at the university’s Faculty of Commerce, the sessions covered creative thinking, problem-solving, teamwork and how to turn ideas into practical projects.
On August 5, the university held a second program on environmental pollution and its impact on communities and surrounding environments. The session brought together 22 participants from several university faculties, including agriculture, medicine, nursing, commerce and biotechnology, as well as representatives from Egypt Post.
Mohamed Ali Ahmed Abdel Hady, a professor of agricultural engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture, discussed indoor air pollution, its sources and health effects, including the risks associated with ozone exposure. The program also examined ways to improve indoor air quality through ventilation, air distribution, filtration and the use of household plants.
The programs were organised by the university’s environmental projects and community training administrations in cooperation with the faculties of Commerce and Agriculture and the Gifted Students and Smart Learning Administration.
