Dubai South Business Hub Free Zone has partnered with Sony Middle East and Africa to give startups, SMEs and entrepreneurs in the free zone access to professional imaging and audio technology, as well as training in content creation, digital marketing and brand building.

Under the agreement, Sony will become the free zone’s official technology partner. Eligible businesses will receive preferential access to Sony equipment and guidance from specialists on how to apply the technology in their operations, according to the announcement.

The programme will include workshops and masterclasses focused on content creation, digital marketing, brand building and business growth. The two organisations also plan to host future events, community initiatives and educational programmes at the free zone.

The partnership expands Dubai South Business Hub’s existing support services, which include business licensing, visa services, banking partnerships and post-licence assistance. It was formalised at a ceremony at Dubai South headquarters by Saif Al-Ali, Director of Licensing and Free Zone Management, and Jobin Joejoe, Managing Director of Sony Middle East and Africa.

Dubai South Business Hub is located within Dubai South, a district connected to Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port and Etihad Rail.
