The fourth Global AI Summit will now take place in Riyadh from Sept. 7-9, 2027, the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) announced.
The schedule was revised following a joint request from the summit’s international partners, allowing more time to consult on the program amid rapid developments in artificial intelligence.
According to the announcement, the new timing will give technology leaders, policymakers, international organisations, and academic and research institutions more opportunity to participate. The summit is expected to focus on the latest developments in data and AI, as well as initiatives and partnerships supporting the responsible and beneficial use of the technology.
SDAIA said the additional preparation time will help ensure the event produces meaningful outcomes and recommendations, while strengthening international collaboration through a global platform based in Riyadh.
