Egypt’s Ministry of Youth and Sports has met with the Arab Investors Union to discuss cooperation on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and investment in the sports sector.
Minister Jawhar Nabil held talks with a delegation led by Hoda Yassa, chair of the Arab Investors Union. The discussions focused on using the union’s expertise to support youth-led projects, create new opportunities in investment and entrepreneurship, and expand women’s participation in sports investments.
According to the announcement, the ministry is also considering joint projects and training programmes designed to prepare young people for employment and encourage them to pursue entrepreneurship. The two sides discussed ways to develop investment opportunities in sports and increase the sector’s economic returns.
Yassa also outlined preparations for the 29th Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Summit, scheduled to take place in Luxor from October 18 to 22, 2026. Proposed initiatives include a major investment company with Egyptian and international partners to support young people, a training-for-employment programme for youth and women, and a large industrial project.
