Botim has partnered with Mastercard to launch Mastercard One Credential, an all-in-one card solution that lets eligible Botim cardholders switch between prepaid balances and credit funding through a single card.
The launch marks the first rollout of Mastercard One Credential in the UAE and across the wider Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) region, according to the announcement. The solution connects multiple funding sources to one payment product through a digital interface, allowing users to manage different payment options without a separate card.
Botim cardholders can access funds in multiple currencies and convert purchases into installments, giving them greater flexibility while maintaining visibility over their transactions. The product is also designed to offer first-time credit users a simpler way to access credit through an existing card experience.
Mastercard said its research found that 83% of UAE consumers surveyed would use card installments through One Credential. The companies described the launch as the first step in a broader roadmap covering future Botim card propositions and additional payment use cases.
