Homs ICT Incubator Supports Youth Projects with Technical Equipment

1 Min Read

The ICT Incubator in Homs has partnered with Yada bi Yad for Relief and Development to support local youth-led technology projects with technical equipment.

The collaboration included a meeting with several entrepreneurial teams to review their projects, needs and potential paths for further development. The donated components are intended to help teams improve their prototypes and move toward more advanced stages, according to the incubator.

Supported projects include Green Panda, which is developing an assistive device for people who are blind, and a smart prosthetic hand controlled through electromyography (EMG) muscle signals.

The meeting also reviewed Trowiya, an application designed to organise blood bank services and provide information about blood and donors, as well as Angel, a digital platform connecting doctors, patients, pharmacists, laboratories, hospitals and support organisations.

The initiative highlights the role of cooperation between incubators, civil society organisations, the private sector and other supporters in helping young innovators move from ideas to working products.
