Apricot International and Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) have formalized a partnership to connect Palestinian professionals with international employment opportunities, while helping companies manage the practical challenges of cross-border hiring.
According to Apricot, GSG will source, screen and match talent from its Palestinian community, while Apricot will handle contracts, payroll, billing and compliance. Companies can hire without establishing a foreign legal entity and receive a single monthly invoice.
GSG, a Mercy Corps program, supports technology and digital professionals across Palestine. The organization said it trains and supports more than 5,000 graduates and professionals each year and works with about 50 Palestinian technology companies annually.
Apricot, founded in 2024 and headquartered in San Francisco, said its network includes more than 10,000 vetted professionals across 12 countries and over 30 job categories. The platform has placed more than 150 candidates and closed over 100 deals since launching, according to the announcement.
The partnership will serve companies seeking roles including software engineering, design, product, marketing, data and operations. For professionals, it is intended to provide a route to paid remote work, with additional learning opportunities through Apricot’s partnerships with Re:Coded and Coursera.
