The Arab Innovation Network (AIN) has launched the Eye Challenges Hackathon 2026 at Birzeit University, bringing together more than 200 young people and innovators from across the governorates.

Held on Friday, 14 August 2026, the 24-hour hackathon challenges participants to develop solutions to 20 real-world problems submitted by 11 partner companies and institutions. Participants are working in teams, supported by mentors and specialists throughout the event.

The program is designed to help young people turn challenges into practical, applicable solutions while strengthening their problem-solving, collaboration and innovation skills in an intensive setting.

Beyond the competition, participants and winners can access opportunities including international travel and representation, paid training, employment prospects and networking with leading companies and institutions.

The teams will present their projects to a judging panel at the final stage, which will determine the winning projects. The hackathon is part of AIN’s ninth annual conference, which connects young people and innovators with professional and innovation opportunities across the Arab region and internationally.
