Women In Tech Syria, Maynger Ventures and Sanad Youth for Development will host the Damascus Startup Meetup on 7 September 2026, bringing Syrian founders together with international investors and entrepreneurship experts.
The event will run from 11am to 1:30pm in Damascus, with the venue shared by email only with confirmed registrants. The program includes a fireside chat covering angel funding, legal and structural issues, partnerships, growth and technology tools.
Four to five startups will also pitch for angel investment and receive live feedback from Maynger Ventures. Pitch slots are limited, and founders are asked to submit a pitch deck for review. Incomplete registrations may not be assessed.
Maynger Ventures said the Damascus visit will also support recruitment for its mentorship program and introduce the Maynger Impact Microfund, a pre-seed fund for technology startups in Syria and the Levant.
