Meta Rolls Out Pocket AI Game-Creation App Across the U.S.

Meta is expanding the U.S. rollout of Pocket, an experimental app that lets users create small interactive games using natural-language AI prompts.

Users describe the game they want to build, while AI handles much of the creation process. These games, called “gizmos,” can respond to touchscreen input and a phone’s movement or tilt. Creators can also add sound effects, song clips, photos from their devices and camera content.

Once published, gizmos appear in a scrollable social feed where users can discover, play, save, repost and remix them. The app quietly launched in Brazil last month as a test before becoming available across the United States.

Pocket builds on Meta’s acquisition of the team behind Gizmo, a vibe-coding gaming platform, earlier in 2026. The approach allows people with little or no traditional programming experience to create and refine interactive experiences through prompts rather than conventional coding tools.

The launch extends Meta’s broader push into AI-powered creation, following experiments with AI-generated images and videos. It also adds another standalone product to the company’s growing lineup of experimental apps, as Meta tests how AI, user-generated content and social feeds can work together.
