Emirates Petroleum Company P.J.S.C. (Emarat) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dell Technologies to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies.
The Dubai-based collaboration will focus on identifying practical AI applications across Emarat’s business, improving data-driven decision-making and developing a technology roadmap aligned with the company’s long-term priorities, according to the announcement.
Emarat and Dell Technologies will also assess evolving technology requirements and explore AI-enabled solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, resilience and sustainable growth.
As part of the agreement, Dell Technologies will support tailored workshops for Emarat employees at multiple levels. The sessions are intended to build understanding of AI and its workplace applications, while helping teams contribute to Emarat’s broader digital transformation.
The MoU was signed by Burhan Al Hashemi, CEO of Emarat, and Walid Yehia, Managing Director for South Gulf at Dell Technologies. It forms part of Emarat’s wider transformation agenda, which includes strengthening technology capabilities and building strategic partnerships.
