Four organizations supported by the Nabad Program are expanding their social and environmental work across Lebanon, according to makesense MENA.
Supported by the Drosos Foundation and implemented by makesense MENA with CSTouch Advisors, the program is helping participating organizations strengthen operations, increase impact and build more sustainable models.
MMKN launched a Learning Hub offering tutoring, mentorship and STEAM-focused career-readiness programs aimed at addressing public school dropout. Grade A Plus installed a solar PV system at its off-grid factory in Aarsal, reducing fuel use and operating costs while scaling SoilPlus, an agricultural product made from locally sourced sheep wool.
Machghalna improved its staffing, production and marketing operations. The increased capacity enabled it to produce thousands of blankets for displaced families while continuing its upcycled textile activities.
Together LiBeirut hosted its 19.8 Trail Challenge, attracting 205 runners and more than 300 attendees. Participation rose 75% after the introduction of an adult trail race, while the event also supported youth mental health through sport and community engagement.
makesense MENA said it will share further updates from Nabad-supported organizations in a second installment.
