Saudi Arabia’s National Development Fund (NDF) has approved more than $112M (SAR 421M) through its Gaming and Esports Financing Program by the end of Q4 2025.
According to a report from the program, the financing has reached 82 entities and supported the development of more than 127 games.
The report highlights the role of development finance in helping local companies grow, attract investment and build the capabilities needed to compete in domestic and international markets. It also reviews the development of Saudi Arabia’s gaming and esports ecosystem and the financing infrastructure supporting the sector.
The initiative forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts under Vision 2030 to develop gaming and esports into a sustainable economic sector. The program supports not only individual companies and game projects, but also the expansion of specialized financing across the wider ecosystem, including developers, platforms and startups.
The next phase will depend on how companies turn the financing into sustained growth, new products and stronger market positions.
