Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province Governor Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz met Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ruwais, deputy CEO for the business sector at the Social Development Bank, to review the bank’s entrepreneurship and small-business support programs in the region.

Al-Ruwais, accompanied by several bank leaders, presented the bank’s financing, development and advisory services, along with its role in helping startups grow and expand.

The briefing also covered “Shor Delni,” an initiative organised by the bank’s Delni Business Center in partnership with the Eastern Province Chamber. The programme brings together more than 100 consultants and experts across eight advisory fields, including artificial intelligence, electronic games and logistics services, according to the announcement.

Prince Saud stressed the importance of enabling Saudi men and women to benefit from emerging opportunities, supporting innovative ideas and strengthening partnerships that advance entrepreneurship and diversify the local economy.

The bank said it would continue providing financing, development solutions and advisory services to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem and support the growth of emerging businesses.
