Egypt’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency is partnering with Basma Shabab Masr to host a training and awareness day for young people interested in entrepreneurship.

The event, titled “Basma National Program: Empowering and Qualifying Youth,” will take place on Saturday, August 29, at the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbasiya. It will introduce participants to entrepreneurship opportunities and the agency’s technical and financing services for starting small, medium and micro enterprises.

The programme will include interactive sessions and an open discussion between agency officials and young participants. Topics will cover project development, feasibility studies, funding eligibility and the steps involved in moving an idea toward implementation.

According to the announcement, the collaboration aims to help young people build practical skills, understand available support and connect their project ideas with financing and market opportunities. It will also give participants the chance to ask questions directly and learn about the requirements for accessing the agency’s services.
