Prince Saud bin Nayef, governor of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, has launched Tamkeen, a digital platform designed to bring support, financing, empowerment programs and business services for entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises into one place.

The platform was introduced at the Asharqia Chamber in Dammam on August 26 as an initiative of the Eastern Province Young Business Council. According to the announcement, it will combine funding opportunities, advisory services and other support programs, using artificial intelligence to help users access the available ecosystem.

Rami Al-Sayed, chairman of the council, said the platform responds to the need for easier access to support and financing. The council said it will also continue launching initiatives that connect young business owners with relevant programs and organisations.

The ceremony also recognised sponsors of the 2026 “Shor Delni Eastern Province” forum, held in partnership with Delni Business Center, an initiative of the Social Development Bank. The forum recorded 523 startup development consultations in less than eight hours, earning a Guinness World Records entry for the largest number of such consultations worldwide, according to the announcement.
