French quantum computing company Pasqal has begun trading on Nasdaq under the ticker PSQL, marking a new phase in its commercialization of neutral-atom quantum technology.

Wa’ed Ventures, which invested in Pasqal in 2023, said the listing reflects the company’s progress in turning research into practical quantum computing solutions and expanding its global presence.

Saudi Arabia has played a growing role in Pasqal’s expansion. The company has established its regional headquarters in the Kingdom, is building a local team and has worked with Aramco to deploy what Wa’ed Ventures described as the Middle East’s first commercial quantum computer. The system provides quantum computing as a service.

Pasqal said the public listing will provide a platform and capital to accelerate its vision for quantum computing. The company develops quantum computers and programmable quantum simulators using neutral atoms, alongside the hardware and software needed to make the technology accessible to users.
