Aramco Digital has unveiled iCONNA, an industrial AI ecosystem designed to support digital transformation across Saudi Arabia’s industrial facilities.
Presented by CEO Dr. Ashraf AlTahini at the LEAP 2026 conference in Riyadh, iCONNA combines Saudi Arabia’s 450 MHz industrial communications network with mission-critical connectivity, edge Industrial IoT, smart devices, industrial AI solutions and an AI-powered software marketplace.
According to the company, the platform is built to move industrial operations beyond basic connectivity by using real-time sensor data to support autonomous decision-making. Its private 450 MHz spectrum network is designed to provide secure and reliable connectivity independent of public commercial telecommunications networks.
The ecosystem also includes the iCONNA Xtreme Reliability portfolio of rugged devices for field teams working in hazardous and demanding industrial environments. Aramco Digital said the initiative can help traditional production sites become more autonomous and adaptable.
The launch builds on Aramco Digital’s collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies on edge AI and industrial IoT solutions, including worker assistants, predictive maintenance, visual anomaly detection and asset management.
